I don’t think there’s an artist on this planet who doesn’t struggle with perfectionism.
We have an amazing vision in our head for an image or story that is magnificent. Then we try and put it down on paper and it all looks a bit… wonky.
It’s almost impossible to match up to the expectations in our heads, and we are our own harshest critics. And this sense of not being good enough can seriously hold us back.
The best way to stop worrying about being “good” enough is to fuck around with being bad. Really, really bad.
Time to make the worst piece of art you can imagine.
