We all wear masks.
Everyone, no matter their neurological wiring or health or lifestyle situations, has a deep yearning to fit in and be accepted, and we often try to achieve that by trying to present ourselves as the people we think others want us to be.
When you add in neurodivergence or disability or health challenges, or other areas for which our current culture lacks tolerance, the urge to hide behind a persona gets even stronger.
Part of our personal healing, and our healing as a creative, involves learning who we are underneath the mask, and building a relationship with that person.
This exercise helps you to recognise the hidden you.
